I this college session we photographed line to create movement, to do this I had to change the shutter speed on my camera to a slower setting to show every detail of movement. I believe these photographs came out very well because they very clearly show movement whilst incorporating the use of line.
Christopher Martin uses lines in his photography to capture movement. He has done work with motion blur photography mainly focusing on the use of light. His photography uses lines in a variety of ways to show direction, light and colour.
For my homework shoot I am going to use blur motion to capture line in movement. I will take pictures of every day objects where line is a distinct feature. To do this I will have to set a slow shutter speed (1″) whilst moving the camera around; this will create a motion blurred effect.
